I’m a full-stack engineer with a non-traditional background. Before my career change, I specialized in interior design, so my problem-solving skills were about aesthetics and functionality. During that time, 70% of my days were spent communicating, predicting issues, and putting out fires. The final 30% was spent designing, which I loved more than anything, but over time, things changed. Once the pandemic hit, I realized that I didn’t want to keep being a marriage counselor anymore, and I wanted to pursue a career that would truly challenge me, continue learning new things, and make better use of my skills.
